Beginners are of course especially welcome. From choosing the right guitar, to tuning and holding the guitar correctly, to progressing though chord practise to playng complete songs.

More intricate rhythm playing and riffwork to learning scales and solos.

More advanced lead solo work. Coordination excercises, Blues and Rock lead playing, Improvising, vibrato, how to achieve better tone and much more.

Are you a complete novice who's never picked up an instrument before, and aren't sure whether you've even got any musical ability, or maybe you've been playing for a while, using online tab or YouTube lessons, but feel like you aren't really progressing? Perhaps you've reached a reasonable level and are playing with a band, but want to take it to the next level? As a music teacher, it's my job to help you achieve your musical goals. Learning to play instruments should be an enjoyable and rewarding process. I draw on the experience of 35 years of playing live, writing and recording, session work,and of course teaching, to provide lessons which are tailored to what you want to learn and the progress that you want to make.
